Active Directory Server Configuration

Use this step to specify the user account information needed to access the Active Directory Server.

Server Name

Displays the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), e.g., domain.company.com. You can use this space to modify the server name.

User Name

Displays the user name for the account used to access the external domain server. You can use this space to modify the user name.

LDAP Filter

Displays the syntax for the LDAP Filter if the external domain has been configured to use the secure Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), which provides additional network security with the external domain. You can use this space to modify the LDAP Filter. Note that when entering the filter query, it is not necessary to enter the domain controller parameters, e.g., to list all computers in the Computers Development Organizational Unit (OU) in company_abc_nj_domain, enter OU=Computers_Development as the LDAP filter.

Add

Click to enter the Active Directory Server information, from which you will select the clients.

Edit

Click to edit the user account information used to access the Active Directory Server.

Remove

Click to remove the selected Active Directory Server information.
