Client Computer Groups

A client computer group is a logical grouping of client computers. Client Computer Group definition help to define options to the entire group instead of the individual clients.

Use the following steps to create a client computer group and to move client computers into computer group manually.

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computer Groups and then click New Group.
2. In the Group Name box, type a name for your new computer group.

In the Description box, type the purpose of the new computer group.

3. In the list of Client Computers, press Ctrl key and select the clients that you want to move.

Click Include > button to move the selected clients to the Clients in this group.

4. The selected clients will appear in the Clients in this group list.

Click OK.

5. You can view the newly created client group under Client Computer Groups.
