What Is Metrics Reporting - Diagnostics and Usage?

Metrics Reporting - Diagnostics and Usage is an automatic reporting service that collects information and metrics on CommCell feature usage and reports that information back to our secure cloud site. Optionally, you can associate your organization with the collected data by entering contact information, such as the phone number and physical address.

How It Works

After you activate Metrics Reporting - Diagnostics and Usage, an automatic policy is initiated to download a set of collection rules from our secure cloud site. The rules represent a collection of SQL scripts that are saved on the CommServe installation directory in the location, Reports/CommservSurvey/download.

The scripts are triggered daily to collect information from the CommCell and store the results in a designated table. Results are automatically uploaded to the secure, central cloud site once every seven days.
