Option
For customers who do not have an ad hoc electrical installation compatible with the
DPS 9000/9xx system, Bull can provide the following optional package in order to avoid the
use of power supply interfaces having different output voltages:
- a three-phased 400/ three-phased 200 Volt isolating transformer (code MI = PSKC003)
designed to cater for the requirements of the DPS 9000/9xx. This power supply interface is
equipped with the secondary circuit breakers necessary for the peripherals associated with
the computer.
Connection to a PSKC003
Note: In the case of a DPS 9000/9xx in tandem configuration, up to
four-processor configuration, a second 400/200 Volt transformer is essential.
Pre-Requisites:
- The DPS 9000/9xx can only function correctly if the power source complies with precise
standards, especially concerning frequency and voltage stability. It is therefore
mandatory to install a power source which can be regulated without interruption.
- The crimp terminals on each of the conductors of the power supply cables for the
components of the DPS 9000/9xx (and at the output of the PSKC003 transformer(s) - if this
option is selected) should be supplied by the customer.
An additional cable is installed between each CSM and each CLU of the configuration of
the DPS 9000/9xx. This cable should be braid-protected with a cross-section of 3 x 4 mm˛.
- Note that the URP cabinet is connected to two power supply cables. These cables
should be braid-protected and each have a cross-section of 4 x 4 mm˛.
- Provision should be made for two direct telephone lines, one for remote maintenance,
Access to the international network is required for sites installed outside France.
