Climatic Environment

The "office data processing" environment should comply with standard NF ISO 7730 dated December 1986, in other words, not only is the climatic environment monitored (generally in terms of temperature), the hygrometric variation should also be taken into account.

The use of computer hardware in a climatic environment in excess of, or bordering, the extreme limits shortens the lifetime of the electronic components. This can adversely affect the dependability of the hardware.

OPTIMUM DEPENDABILITY IS OBTAINED WITH:

-    A TEMPERATURE OF 22 ± 3°C
          gradient of 3°C per hour

-    A HYGROMETRY OF 50 ± 10 %
gradient of 5 % per hour
