Vibration

Care should be taken to ensure that the premises chosen are not subject to excessive vibration. The following limits should be respected:

1. Operational Hardware

   In sinusoidal scan, 1 octave/minute:

   • Peak amplitude for frequencies between 5 and 16 Hertz: 0.25 mm peak.
   • Peak acceleration for frequencies between 16 and 300 Hz: 0.25 g peak.
2. Non-operational Hardware

   In sinusoidal scan, 1 octave/minute:

   • Peak amplitude for frequencies between 5 and 16 Hertz: 0.5 mm peak.
   • Peak acceleration for frequencies between 16 and 300 Hz: 0.5 g peak.

   In random excitation:

   • For frequencies between 5 and 200 Hz: 1.5x10^-3 g²/Hz and 0.54g RMS.
