Detection

The areas to be monitored are generally:

• the plenum space of the raised floor
• the environment of the computer room
• the plenum space of the suspended ceiling (if relevant)

However, adjacent rooms and technical rooms should also be monitored.

The detectors generally used are of the ionic or optic, thermovelokinetic, etc. type.

A detection circuit comprises at least two independent loops equipped with different detectors on each loop.
