Extinction
The extinguishing procedure provides for a delay before emitting the extinguishing
agent so that:
- the personnel can be warned (visual and audio signal) and evacuated
- a visual alarm can be given outside the premises warning of the presence of
extinguishing gasses
- the power can be cut in the room (computer hardware, lighting, air conditioning) with
the exception of the emergency lighting units
To deal with any small local fires, it is recommended to place portable extinguishers
in the computer room and the ancillary premises ("water extinguishers" in the
vicinity of the paper storage).
