Air Circulation

Do not place the perforated slabs or the slabs equipped with registers in the immediate vicinity of one or more air-conditioning cabinets, as shown in the following figure.

Circulation of air in the plenum space of the raised floor should not be obstructed by pipes or cableways which are too large with respect to the available height.

The following figure illustrates poor air distribution.

Depending on the models, Bull computers are cooled by:

• taking air from the environment of the room
• taking the air delivered via the plenum space of the raised floor according to the cuts defined
• circulating a cooling liquid directly inside the elements

Precautions to be taken:

• Minimum height of raised floor: 30 cm
• Slabs correctly wedged
• Elimination of obstacles:
  • Accumulation of cables
  • Superimposed piping
  • Excessively bulky connection modules
