For DPS7000 single-cabinet systems capable of being extended to include a second cabinet, and its peripherals, the installation of a raised floor in which the power supply and data transmission cables are laid is recommended.
Furthermore, a raised floor can serve as a ventilation duct. This system is designed to deliver cooled air to the appropriate equipment and ensure good circulation of the conditioned air in the room.
If the computer configuration contains an ATP/MTP unit (tape drive controller), the false floor is mandatory.
