Climatic Environment

DPS 7000 single-cabinet systems which are capable of being extended to include a second cabinet, and its peripherals, are intended for installation in an "office data processing" environment.

The "office data processing" environment should comply with standard NF ISO 7730 dated December 1986, which means that not only the climatic environment should be monitored (generally in terms of temperature), but also that the hygrometric variation.

The use of computer hardware in a climatic environment in excess of, or bordering, the extreme limits shortens the lifetime of the electronic components. This can adversely affect the dependability of the hardware.
