Option

The DPS 7000s of the /Ax, /400, /Cxx and /Mtx1 series have a battery option which allows for emergency power when the voltage supply is down (for example, external tripping) so that the work in progress can be stopped properly.

Pre-Requisites:

For reasons of personal safety, the customer should supply a contact in the electricity distribution panel, where the contact is normally open when at rest. This contact is controlled by the emergency stop system and should be connected to the 20 m braid-protected cable (telephone pair, delivered with the DPS 7000 (see the following figure)). This device is makes it possible to disconnect the battery in the case of a cut-off using the "emergency stop".
