             This README file contains the latest information about
             installing the Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics.

       2.0   Installation and setup instructions


       2.1   Step by step instructions for this installation

             2.1.1   CD
  
                     - Insert the "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics Flash CD"
                       into your CDROM drive.

                     - Start up or restart your Bull NovaScale B260-B280 server.

             2.1.2   Diskette 

                     - Insert the "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 POST/BIOS Flash Diskette"
                       into drive A.

                     - Start up or restart your Bull NovaScale B260-B280 server.
  
                     - The server will boot from the diskette and present
                       a Main menu offering several options. Choose "2 - Update
                       Diagnostic".

                     - The system will prompt you to insert the diskette
                       containing diagnostics file $BCydiag.us1.  Insert the
                       "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics Flash Update Diskette
                       1 of 2" into drive A and hit enter.

                     - After loading the image from the first diskette, the
                       system will prompt you to insert the diskette
                       containing diagnostics file $BCydiag.us2.  Insert the
                       "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics Flash Update Diskette
                       2 of 2" into drive A and hit enter.

                     - After the second image is loaded from diskette, the system
                       will ask you to wait while the images are flashed into
                       ROM.  When this is complete you will be prompted to remove
                       the diskette and hit enter to restart the system.

             4.1.1   CD

                     - Insert the "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics Flash CD"
                       into your CDROM drive.

                     - Start up or restart your Bull NovaScale B260-B280 server.
             
             4.1.2   Diskette

                     - Boot to DOS

                     - Copy flash2.exe from the "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 POST/BIOS
                       Flash Disk", this readme.txt file, and all *.us* files from 
                       the "Bull NovaScale B260-B280 Diagnostics Flash Update
                       Diskettes" to the same directory on some media capable
                       of storing 2.5MB of data

                     - From the directory just copied to, run "flash2.exe /u /d"
