Welcome to BullSequana Edge server package repository!

New upgrade package revisions are published on a regular basis for BullSequana Edge. These packages include security fixes and product updates.

The packages are released into different Technical State (TS). Each TS includes different bundles to be upgraded:

  1. BMC - Upgrade the BMC - Local management Console
  2. BIOS - Upgrade the BIOS - Hardware component detection and setup
  3. CPLD - Upgrade the Complex Programmable Logic Device - Electrical management
  4. [Optional] MISM (Machine Intelligence System Management), an Atos product to automate software deployment (with a set of Ansible playbooks) and server monitoring (using Zabbix templates).

Upgrade steps

  1. Check your current version: connect to the BMC, and check the FIRMWARE VERSION attribute in the BMC INFORMATION bloc of the Overview section.
  2. Identify the target upgrade version in the table below
  3. Download and uncompress the associated All in one file (including BMC, BIOS & CPLD) and follow the upgrade instructions

IMPORTANT: Always make sure to upgrade your BullSequana Edge to the latest Technical State available!

Warning - If your current TS version is 14.01 or above, you can directly upgrade the TS to the latest firmware 19.03. If your current TS version is lower than 14.01, intially the TS should be ugraded to 14.01 and then to the latest firmware !

Upgrade instructions are available in the Hardware Management Console documentation
