To avoid the download of a too large image file from the Bull support web site, the "splits'utility was used to break the Bull Customized SUU image file into multiple chuncks. The name of every of chunck indicates the system which it applies to and the chunck number (A0x). For example, the Bull Customized SUU image file for the NovaScale R430 F3 system is made of three chuncks : - R430-F3-2013Q2-A00.iso - R430-F3-2013Q2-A01.iso - R430-F3-2013Q2-A02.iso On Unix, the collection of chuncks created with splits can be reassembled with the CAT command. For example, the three chuncks listed above can be reassembled using the command : cat R430-F3-2013Q2-A* > R430-F3-2013Q2.iso On Windows, the collection of chuncks created with splits can be reassembled with the COPY command.
