Search

Use this tab to specify the search criteria for the find operation.

Find in Mailbox

Displays the name of the Mailbox in which the search will be performed.

Subject, From, To

Use these spaces to specify the search string or wildcard pattern of the message or item that you want to find. The check-box specifies whether the find operation searches the specified pattern in these fields. Clear the check-box if you not want to search by a particular criteria.

Keep in mind that for non-message file types, the Subject field will search for the file name and the To field will search for the creator of the file. See Wildcards for a list of supported wildcards.

Exchange Archiver

Specifies whether to search data that was archived by the Exchange Mailbox Archiver Agent.

Exchange Mailbox

Specifies whether to search data that was backed up by the Exchange Mailbox iDataAgent.

Select Exchange Server

Lists the Exchange Servers that can be searched. To search a different Exchange Server, select one from the list.

Display Pane

Displays the results of the search by mailbox Folder, To, From, Subject, Received Time, Matched String, and Size (in KBytes).

Find Now

Starts the find operation.

Stop

Stops the find operation.

• Keep in mind that all the options described in this help may not be available and only the options displayed in the dialog box are relevant to the operation that is being performed.
