Agent Properties (General)

Use this tab to obtain general information on the selected Agent. Note that all the options described in this help may not be available and only the options displayed in the dialog box are applicable to the agent for which the information is being displayed.

Client Name

Displays the name of the client computer.

Billing Department

Displays the name of the billing department, when the Agent is associated with a billing department. For more information on Billing and Costing See the CommNet Books Online.

iDataAgent/Agent Type

Displays the name of the agent.

Installed date

Displays the date on which the agent was installed or upgraded on the client computer.

Backup Type

Specifies the pre-selected backup level. This determines which data is secured by an Exchange Database backup that is not a full backup.

Use VSS

Specifies whether Microsoft's Exchange Writer will perform a full backup of the selected subclient using a VSS shadow copy. When cleared, disables Microsoft's Exchange Writer backups for the selected subclient.

CCR Options

A group of options applicable for Exchange 2007 Database iDataAgents configured for Cluster Continuous Replication (CCR); these options require the Use VSS option to be enabled.

Profile Name

Displays the name of the profile that is associated with the appropriate Administrator Mailbox. Use this space to modify this name.

Mailbox Name

Displays the name of the mailbox that is associated with the appropriate Administrator profile. Use this space to modify this name.

Exchange Administrator Account

Displays the Exchange Administrator Account for the site in which this Exchange Server resides.

SharePoint Administrator Account

Displays the SharePoint Administrator Account that has required rights to create and modify SharePoint databases. This account will be used for data protection and recovery operations.

Change Account

Click to change the account information associated with this agent, as follows:

SSO Account

Displays the SSO Administrator account for the single sign-on service on this SharePoint Server.

Backup Deleted Item Retention

Specifies whether to enable backups for the Deleted Item Retention folder. When cleared, disables backups for the Deleted Item Retention folder.

Use CSVDE For Discovery

Specifies whether to use CSVDE filtering for discovery operations on the selected agent. When selected, a CSVDE filter must be entered into the corresponding entry space. When cleared, user-specified CSVDE filtering will not be used for discovery operations on the selected agent.

SharePoint Server Name

Displays the name of the SharePoint Server that is installed on the client computer. Use this space to modify this server name if the name displayed is incorrect (e.g., not the same as the Client name or Host name).

Exchange Server Name

Displays the name of the Exchange Server that is installed on the client computer. Use this space to modify this server name if the name displayed is incorrect (e.g., not the same as the Client name or Host name).

Index Backup/Restore path

The UNC path for a shared network folder to temporarily store the site index during backup and restore. There should be enough space available on the share for the index to be temporarily stored.

For a SharePoint All-in-One Server, the Index path must be local, not a UNC path.

If topology manager is locked during backup/restore, force its release

Specifies whether the system should release the lock for the topology manager and therefore allow jobs to complete without interruption.  This option is selected by default for new installations.

SQL Databases hosted on a remote SQL Server

Specifies whether the SharePoint Server is part of a SharePoint Server Farm and whether the SQL Databases are hosted on a remote SQL Server.  If selected, the SQL Databases must be backed up using the SQL Server iDataAgent.

Recall items to Recovered Items folder for Outlook

Specifies whether messages or items recalled from Outlook should be placed in the Recovered Items folder. When selected, data will be recalled to the Recovered Items folder. When cleared, data will be recalled to the original folder from which the data was archived.

Recall items to Recovered Items folder for Outlook Web Access

Specifies whether messages or items recalled from Outlook Web Access (OWA) should be placed in the Recovered Items folder. When selected, data will be recalled to the Recovered Items folder. When cleared, data will be recalled to the original folder from which the data was archived.

Path to Exchange mining tool

Use this space to type in the fully qualified path to the location where the Exchange Offline Mining Tool (for End-Users) or the Exchange Offline Mining Tool for Administrators resides. Specifying this information is only applicable when configuring the Exchange Offline Mining Tool for integration into the DataArchiver Outlook Add-In interface.

Enable Offline Mining

Select this option to browse and restore SharePoint document and picture library files from an offline database. When selected, the Offline Mining Enabler for SharePoint license is then consumed.

Threshold for number of messages in the Journal Mailbox

Specifies the number of messages in the Journal Mailbox at which a warning must be generated. If the number of messages in the Journal Mailbox exceeds the specified number, the system generates an event message and generates the Journal Mailbox Threshold Exceeded alert, if configured. This field requires that the Enable Threshold option be selected first.

Enable Threshold

Specifies whether to enable the Journal Mailbox Threshold Alert and activates the Threshold for number of messages in the Journal Mailbox field.

Authenticate Active Directory Domain Controller

Specifies whether to use or change the user account to authenticate against the Active Directory domain controller to look up group membership for the specified user (per the following fields)

Domain Name

Use this space to enter the domain name for this user.

User Name

Use this space to enter the name of the user for the account discussed for the preceding field. The correct format for specifying a user is Domain\User.

Password

Use this space to enter the password for this user.

Confirm Password

Retype the password.
