Use this dialog box to view the following information about the selected event:
A unique numerical identifier indicating the sequence in which the event was received by the CommServe. Because the most recent events are displayed towards the top of the dialog box, the numbers in the Event ID column are sorted in descending order.
Indicates the severity level of each event. The following severity levels are available:
Indicates a normal, expected event. Reported informational events include the initiation and completion of key jobs and operations.
Indicates an abnormal or unexpected event that does not affect running processes.
Indicates a major error affecting a single CommServe, MediaAgent, client, or application.
Indicates critical system conditions affecting multiple CommServes, MediaAgents, clients or applications.
The date and time on which the event took place.
A unique number linking to troubleshooting and knowledgebase articles from the customer support website. This is useful if you wish to obtain information about the job failure reason(s).
This event code will only appear if the job has not completed successfully. |
The computer on which the event occurred.
The subsystem that generated the event.
A unique number that identifies the data protection, data recovery, or administration operation that generated the system event.
A detailed description of the event.
