Use this static dialog box to view the events that resulted from the search query you performed in the Events Selection dialog box.
Severity
Displays the severity of the event.
Indicates a normal, expected event. Reported informational events include the initiation and completion of key jobs and operations.
Indicates an abnormal or unexpected event that does not affect running processes.
Indicates a major error affecting a CommServe, MediaAgent, client, or agent.
Indicates critical system conditions affecting multiple CommServes, MediaAgents, clients or agents.
Event ID
A unique identifier for the event.
Job ID
A unique identifier for the data protection, data recovery, or administration operation that generated the system event.
Date
The date when the event originated on the originating computer.
Time
The time when the event originated on the originating computer. Due to time differences between computers, events may appear to be listed out of chronological order when in fact messages are listed in the order they occur.
Program
The subsystem that generated the event (for example. Job Manager or Media Manager, etc.)
Computer
The computer on which the event occurred.
Error Code
A unique number linking to troubleshooting and knowledgebase articles from the customer support website. This is useful if you wish to obtain information about the job failure reason(s).
Note that this error code will only appear if the job has not completed successfully.
Description
A detailed description of the event.
