Disaster Recovery Backup Options

Use this dialog box to select the type of Disaster Recovery Backup operation that you want to use.

Full

Establishes the backup type as a full backup. This form of backup secures the entire CommServe database and the Windows registry entries created by the software.

Differential

Establishes the backup type as a differential backup. This form of backup secures those portions of the CommServe database that have changed since the last differential backup. It also backs up the Windows registry entries.

Shrink database(s) before the Disaster Recovery backups

Select this option to compress the database and database log file before a Disaster Recovery Backup operation.

Configure Alert

Provides the necessary options to configure the alerts associated with the Disaster Recovery Backup operation.

• Add/Modify Alert

  When clicked, opens the Alert Wizard to configure necessary alerts for this operation.

• Delete Alert

  When clicked, deletes any existing alerts that are already configured.

Save As

Select this option to open the Saving the Job as a Script dialog box which allows you to save this operation and selected options as a script file.

Schedule

Provides access to the Schedule Details dialog box, which allows you to schedule a Disaster Recovery Backup operation.
