Use this dialog box to view a list of media required for a restore or index restore operation. The following information is displayed for each media:
Export Location
Lists the location of the media:
Barcode/Mount Path
Lists the barcode /mount path associated with the media.
Container
Lists the name of the container, if the media was added to a container.
Library
Lists the name of the library in which media is physically located or the library to which the exported media needs to be imported.
Media Type
Lists the media type - either as magnetic or non-magnetic.
Storage Policy
Lists the name of the storage policy used to write to the media.
Copy Name
Lists the name of the copy used to write to the media.
Subclient
Lists the name of the subclient associated with the data in the media.
Copy Precedence
Lists the copy precedence used to write to the media.
Index in Cache
This column is displayed when media list for index restore is displayed. Indicates whether the index is available in the index cache or not.
Note that by default the list media operation lists the media only when the index is not available in the index cache. Enable the Show all media containing index option to view all information. When this option is selected a check-box appears selected when the index is available in the index cache and if the check-box is cleared, indicates that the index must be restored from the media.
Size
This information is displayed when the list media operation is performed for specific files/folders. Indicates the total space required to restore the selected data.
Show all media containing index
Indicates whether the list media operation must display information on whether the index is available in the index cache.
Recall Media
Click this button to perform a Recall Media operation for the media selected in the list.
Select All
Select this option to select all media in the list.
