Use this dialog box to select the restore options for the Site Databases.
Overwrite destination portal if it already exists
Specifies whether to restore a portal site to a virtual server that is currently extended with a portal site. This will allow the current portal to be overwritten by the portal selected for the restore.

If the SharePoint Portal Server is configured as part of a SharePoint server farm, and the SQL databases were not backed up using the SharePoint Database iDataAgent, this option will be ignored, even if selected. |
Portal Site
Displays the Portal Site being restored. You can use this space to change the Portal Site.
Type
Displays the type of database being restored.
Virtual Server
Displays the Virtual Server to which the Portal Site will be restored. You can use this space to identify a different Virtual Server.
Database Server
Displays the name server that holds the SharePoint databases. You can use this space to change the server name.
Restore Defaults
Click to undo any changes made to the fields.
Database file(s) location on the destination server
You can use this space to specify a path on the destination server for the database file(s), when performing a cross-machine restore.
Log file(s) location on the database server
You can use this space to specify a path on the destination server for the log file(s), when performing a cross-machine restore.
Browse
Click to browse the file system and find a specific path for database / log file(s) on the destination server.
The two Browse buttons are applicable only if the SQL Databases are:
- backed up using the SharePoint iDataAgent
- restored to another All-in-One server
Advanced
Click to display the Advanced Restore Options screen.
