Schedule Policy Details (General)

Use this widow to edit the properties of a schedule policy.

Name

Displays the name of the schedule policy. Use the space to enter a new name for the schedule policy.

Type

Displays the type of schedule policy.

iDataAgent

Identifies the agent(s) for the data protection or SRM Data Collection schedule policy (not applicable for the Auxiliary Copy and SRM Reports schedule policies).

Description

Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.

Schedule Policy Schedules/Data Protection Schedules/Auxiliary Copy Schedule

Displays the schedule(s) that are defined for the data protection, Auxiliary Copy, SRM Data Collection, or SRM Reports schedule policy.

• Type/Options

  For:

  • A Data protection schedule policy, displays if the data protection schedule is full, incremental, differential, or synthetic full.
  • An All Agent Types (generic) schedule policy, displays if the data protection schedule is full or incremental.
  • An Auxiliary Copy schedule policy, displays the options selected for the Auxiliary Copy.
  • An SRM Data Collection schedule policy, displays the type of data collection.
  • A Backup Copy schedule policy, displays the options selected for the Backup Copy.
  • An SRM Reports schedule policy, displays details regarding exporting reports to files and Predictive Trending.
• Schedule Pattern

  Displays the type of schedule, either one time, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

Add

Click to add a schedule to the schedule policy from the Schedule Details (Schedule Details) dialog box. A data protection schedule policy can have six schedules. An Auxiliary Copy, SRM Data Collection, and SRM Reports schedule policy can each have one schedule.

Edit

Click to edit a schedule in the schedule policy from the Schedule Details (Schedule Details) dialog box.

Delete

Click to delete a schedule policy from a schedule policy.
