Schedule Details (Auxiliary Copy Options)

Use the Auxiliary Copy Options tab of the Schedule Details dialog box to select additional Auxiliary Copy options for this Auxiliary Copy schedule of an Auxiliary Copy schedule policy.

Start New Media

If selected, the option causes the following to occur:

If removable media (tape or optical) is being used on a secondary copy, the current active media is marked as full and a new media is used for the auxiliary copy.

If cleared, the auxiliary copy automatically uses the current active media or volume.

Mark media full after successful operation

Specifies that the media used for the Auxiliary Copy operation is marked full after the operation is successfully completed.

Select most Recent full backup when Auxiliary Copy starts

If selected, the most recent successful full backup for each subclient will be copied when an Auxiliary Copy job is run. If not selected, only the previously selected full backup job will be copied when the Auxiliary Copy job is run.

Number of streams to copy in parallel

Allows you to select the data streams that are copied at the same time during the scheduled Auxiliary Copy operation.

Number of Streams

Allows you to select the number of data streams that are copied at the same time during the scheduled Auxiliary Copy operation.

Allow maximum

If selected, the maximum number of data streams available will be copied at the same time during the Auxiliary Copy operation.

Configure Alert

Provides the necessary options to configure the alerts associated with Auxiliary Copy operations.

Add/Modify Alert
When clicked, opens the Alert Wizard to configure necessary alerts for this operation.
Delete Alert
When clicked, deletes any existing alerts that are already configured.

Vault Tracking

Provides access to the Select Vault Tracking Options dialog box, which allows you to establish the necessary options to export and track the media used by the specific Auxiliary Copy job, using Vault Tracker.
Vault Tracking Options will be displayed only when a Vault Tracker license is available in the CommServe.

Start Suspended

Select to start this operation in a Suspended state.
