Job Options
A tab that provides information about the type of backup (i.e., backup level) that will be performed for this data protection schedule, such as Full, Incremental, Differential, etc., in addition to any agent-specific options selected for the operation.
Establishes the job as a Full backup, which backs up all data for the selected subclient.
Establishes the job as an Incremental backup, which backs up all data that is new or has changed since the last data protection operation for the selected backup set or subclient. (For the NetWare iDataAgent, since the last full, incremental, or synthetic full backup).
Establishes the job as a Differential backup, which backs up all data that is new or has changed since the last Full backup for the selected backup set or subclient.
Establishes the job as either an Incremental or Differential backup, as determined during installation or later through client configuration.
Establishes the job as a Synthetic Full backup, which creates a Full backup from existing backup data for the selected backup set or subclient.
Run Incremental Backup
This option is only available when Synthetic Full is selected.
When selected, enables the options for running an Incremental backup either immediately before a Synthetic Full backup or immediately after a successfully completed Synthetic Full backup. When cleared, an Incremental backup is not automatically run either immediately before or after the Synthetic Full backup.
Click to access the Advanced Backup Options dialog box, which provides advanced data protection operation features. In the case of scheduling a synthetic full backup, this option is only enabled if the Run Incremental Backup option is selected.
Click to access to the Change Priority dialog box.

This option allows you to back up the SQL Server transaction log in situations where the database is damaged or has not been recovered.
