Use this tab to determine for which instances the archive redo logs will be backed up or deleted and also the instance order for these tasks.
Backup Archive Log
Specifies whether to back up or delete archived redo log files. These logs can be applied to the database in order to recover it to a point-in-time. This option is not available when you select Offline Database in the Content tab.
Backup Archive Log All
Specifies whether to back up archived redo log files for all the specified instances (displayed in the Client/Instance/Status/Stream field). If the archive logs are stored on a shared medium (e.g. NFS, CFS), all the archive logs for all the instances will be backed up. (However, if the archive logs are on a drive locally (i.e., not shared), only the archived logs for selected instances can be backed up.) These logs can be applied to the database in order to recover it to a point-in-time. This option is not available when you select Offline Database.
Backup Instance Archive Log
Specifies whether to back up archived redo log files for a selected instance (displayed in the Client/Instance/Status/Stream field). If the archive logs are on a drive locally (i.e., not shared), only the archived logs for selected instances will be backed up. These logs can be applied to the database in order to recover it to a point-in-time. This option is not available when you select Offline Database.
