Use this dialog box to configure the update cache directory on the CommServe computer.
CommServe Cache and Share For Windows Clients
Indicates the user name used to access the cache directories.
Click to change the user name and password used to access the cache directories.
When selected, the updates are downloaded to a local drive on the CommServe computer.
When selected, the updates are downloaded to a network share.
Indicates the location of the CommServe update cache directory, either locally or on the network share.
Click to change the location of the cache directory.
Indicates the status of the CommServe update cache. Possible status values are:
Indicates that the CommServe Update Cache is ready to receive the updates.
Indicates that there is a problem with the configured CommServe Update Cache. If this is the status, delete the contents of the cache, and manually download the updates, or run CopyToCache.
Displays the amount of space used in the CommServe cache directory for the updates.
Displays the amount of space required in the CommServe cache directory for the next download of updates from the FTP site. If there aren't any updates available for download, 0 Bytes will be displayed.
Displays the amount of free space in the CommServe cache directory.
Displays whether any updates are available in the FTP site for download.
