Use this dialog box to configure an update cache on a remote client computer in the CommCell.
Select UpdateCache
Select a client computer from the dropdown box to be designated as the secondary update cache computer.
Cache Status
Displays the update status for the selected client computer in reference to the CommServe cache. The possible values and their descriptions are:
The software is not able to determine if the client computer meets the baseline level of updates due to an error.
The updates in the update cache client computer match the baseline level of updates in the CommServe Cache directory.
The client computer update cache must be updated to meet the baseline level of updates in the CommServe Cache directory.
The client computer update cache exceeds the baseline level of updates in the CommServe Cache directory.
Enable UpdateCache
Select this to enable the update cache to receive updates from the CommServe update cache
AutoSyncup With CS Cache
Select this to enable the update cache to automatically receive the updates from the CommServe update cache so that it is in sync with the CommServe update cache. If selected, the Update Agent cache will be automatically synchronized with the CommServe update cache when updates are downloaded to the CommServe.
Use Local Drive
When selected, the automatic updates are downloaded from the CommServe Update Cache to a local drive on the selected client computer.
Use Network Share
When selected, the automatic updates are downloaded from the CommServe Update Cache to a network share.
Cache Directory
Indicates the location of the update cache directory, either locally or on the network share.
Browse
Click to change the location of the update cache directory.
Impersonate User
Indicates the user name used to access the update cache directory.
User Name/Password
Click to change the user name and password used to access the update cache directory.
Associate Clients/Client Groups
Click to view/modify the clients/client groups associated with the highlighted update cache. These clients/client groups are configured to receive their updates from this update cache (not the CommServe Update Cache).
