Download Updates Job Options

Use this dialog box to start or schedule a download of updates from the FTP site for downloading updates.

When selected, initiates the download of updates from either the specified FTP site for downloading updates or a HTTP proxy server immediately.

When selected, allows you to schedule regular downloads of updates either the specified FTP site for downloading updates or a HTTP proxy server immediately.

Configure Alert

Provides the necessary options to configure the alerts associated with FTP download.

• Add/Modify Alert

  When clicked, opens the Alert Wizard to configure an alert for this operation.

• Delete Alert

  When clicked, deletes an existing alert that is already configured for this operation.

Sync Update Caches

When selected, the downloaded updates will be pushed to the designated client computer update caches to keep them in synch with the CommServe Update Cache.

Description

Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.
