For EMC Celerra, this is the account that has access to every CIFS share
(e.g., Domain Administrator account). If this account does not have complete
access, data collection may fail.
For a NetApp filer using ONTAP 6.5.x and earlier, which is part of a domain, this account is the Administrator account in that domain. For a NetApp filer using ONTAP 7.0 and above, this account can be the special Administrator account that was created on the filer when CIFS was first set up, if you chose to set up such an account. Or it can be the Domain Administrator account if the NAS filer was added to a Windows domain. |
Domain Name
Name of the Domain to which this user belongs.

This is the domain of the account for which the User Name was specified
above.
For a NetApp filer using ONTAP 6.5.x and earlier, which is part of a domain, this is the name of that domain. For a NetApp filer using ONTAP 7.0 and above, which has a special Administrator account created on the filer when CIFS was first set up and this is the account used for the User name, this is the name of the filer. If the NetApp filer uses local user accounts for authentication, enter the filer name in the Domain Name field when specifying CIFS credentials. |
