Use this tab to specify the details for the backup operation. Note that all the options described in this help may not be available and only the options displayed in the dialog box are applicable to the agent for which the information is being displayed.
Create Recovery Points
Specifies that recovery points are created on the destination volume, at the end of every backup job. This option is available only for Remote Backup operations.
Quiesce Applications
Specifies the source application will be quiesced while capturing the application data for backup.
Backup To Tape
Select to perform a backup of the Recovery Point after it is created. This option is available only for Remote Backup operations.
Enter Backup Details
Click to open the Backup dialog box to specify the details of the backup job. This option is available only for Remote Backup operations.
Backup Type
Specifies the job as a full backup, which backs up all data specified in the source path.
Specifies the job as an Incremental backup, which backs up only that portion of the data that is new or has changed since the last backup.
Schedule Type
Specifies this job will run immediately.
Specifies the backup job will be scheduled. Click OK to access Schedule Details dialog box, which allows you to schedule the backup operation.
