This section lists the components that support/do not support Alternate Data Paths (GridStor).

Agents

All Agents except the Quick Recovery Agent and SAP for MAXDB iDataAgent support this feature, including subclient data paths.

Note that the Virtual Server iDataAgent does not support failover data paths.

Libraries and MediaAgents

All libraries and MediaAgents support this feature.

Note that on NetWare MediaAgents, this feature can be supported using shared libraries in a SAN environment.
