Use this window to select a file containing the CommServe data you want to restore, display or change the CommServe host name and SQL Server name, or to log in the CommServe SQL database as a different user.
Restore DBSelect this option to restore the database. Once selected, all applicable fields will be enabled.
Restore File
The name, including the fully qualified path of the .dmp file which contains the CommServe data that you want to restore.
Restore PathThe location, defined by the fully qualified path, where the database files will reside.
Browse
Provides access to the Open dialog box, which allows you to browse and select a file.
Instance
Specifies the Instance on which the CommServe is installed.
Restore as DB
Displays the CommServ database name. The CommServ Database can be restored with a different name for viewing purposes only. Functionality of the database requires it to be restored with the same name.
Control Set Name
Displays the current CommServe host name. You can change the name, if necessary, on a clustered computer.
SQL Server Info
Displays the name of the CommServe SQL database. This name can be changed, if necessary, on clustered computer.
Select this option to login to the CommServe SQL database as a different user.
The user name used to login to the CommServe SQL database.
The password for the specified user name.
Mail Server
Specifies the name of the mail server that will be used to send e-mail. Use the space to define name of the mail server.
Port
Specifies the port number that will be used to connect to the mail server. If necessary, use the space to modify the port number.
Sender
Specifies the sender's e-mail address that will be displayed in the mail generated from the software. Use the space to add the senders e-mail address.
Recipients
Specifies the e-mail address of the recipient that will receive an e-mail message indicating that the restore operation has completed.
