Perform a File System NDMP Restore

Before you begin

• Review the general and agent-specific restore requirements accessed from Restore Backup Data prior to performing any restore.
• Review the overview material provided in File System NDMP Restore Enabler.
• This procedure applies to NAS NDMP NetApp and EMC Celerra only.

Required Capability: See Capabilities and Permitted Actions

To restore data using a three-way restore:

1. Begin a Browse and Restore procedure.
2. From the Restore Options (General) dialog box, select the name of the file system client from the Destination Computer list. You are required to enter a destination folder, and you can use the browse feature to select this folder on the destination computer.
   NOTE: Keep in mind that file system clients will only appear in the list if they have the File System NDMP Restore Enabler installed.
3. Continue with the restore procedure.
