Overview

If the Magnetic Library Maintenance option is selected from the Job Summary Report Selection dialog box, the Magnetic Library Maintenance Job Summary Report will be created. The Magnetic Library Maintenance Job Summary Report provides the results of fragmentation analysis on the magnetic library.

Usage

This report is useful if you require:

• A summary of Magnetic Library Maintenance jobs for each client.
• To view all Magnetic Library Maintenance jobs during a specified time period.
• Detailed Magnetic Library Maintenance information such as:
  • The client source and destination.
  • The duration of the job.
  • The total objects successful, skipped, or failed to be restored.
  • The data size and the CommCell user that initiated the job.
  • The failure reason (if necessary), and associated events.
  • The failed objects (if necessary), and the files that were successfully restored.
  • The options that were selected for the job before the job was run.
  • The status of the job, and the throughput unit.
