Overview

A scratch pool is a repository of new or pruned media which are available for use. The Scratch Pool Report provides a list of the contents and low watermarks of scratch/cleaning pools.

Usage

This report is useful if you require:

An accounting of scratch/cleaning pools containing fewer than the specified number of media.
Scratch/cleaning pools that fall below the low watermark.
(Optionally) a list of available media.
