To
perform a Restore by Jobs for file system or Legal Hold data:
- Right-click the backup set or Legal Hold set (for Legal Hold data) of the appropriate agent, click All Tasks
and then click Restore by Jobs.
- In the
Restore by Jobs filter dialog box, if you would like to restore jobs whose
start and end times fall within a absolute time range, click Specify jobs from
list. On the other hand, if you would like to restore jobs whose start
and end times fall within a time range relative to when the restore will start,
click Specify time range.
- Click the appropriate Backup Type and Job Status.
- If desired, click Advanced to select additional restore options in
the Advanced
Filter Options dialog box. Then click OK.
- In the Time Range area, use the spaces to select the absolute or
relative time range for the jobs.
- Click OK from the Restore by Jobs filter dialog box.
- In the Backup Job History dialog box, click the jobs that you would like to restore.
Using the right-click menu, select Restore Selected Jobs.
- In the
General
tab of the Restore Options dialog box and the
Job Initiation
tab of the Restore Options dialog box, select/set the appropriate destination
and any other desired options, and click OK.

To
perform a Restore by Jobs to restore CommServe DR data:
- Right-click the CommServe icon, click All Tasks and then click
DR Restore.
- Make selections as appropriate in the
DR Job History filter dialog box and then click OK.
- Select the jobs to restore from the Admin Job History dialog box and then
click Restore.
- In the
General
and Job
Initiation tabs of the Restore Options dialog box, select/set the appropriate
destination and any other desired options.
- If desired, click the appropriate button for each corresponding item that
you would like to select/set and then click OK.
- Continue the restore.
