System Requirements - File Archiver for NetWare Agent

The following requirements are for the File Archiver for NetWare Agent:

Processor
NetWare 6.5 with Support Packs up to Support Pack 8

NetWare 6.5 Branch Office with Support Pack 5 (Not supported along with the resync replication feature.)

Intel Pentium or compatible minimum required

Memory

32 MB RAM minimum required beyond the requirements of the operating system and running applications

Hard Disk

50 MB minimum of hard disk space for software

50 MB of additional hard disk space for log file growth

10 MB of temp space required for install or upgrade (where the temp directory resides)

Peripherals

DVD-ROM drive

Network Interface Card

Miscellaneous

Novell NetWare TCP/IP Services configured on the computer.

Novell Storage Management Service (SMDR.NLM) must be loaded.

The software must be installed on an NSS volume.

You must have some form of name resolution between your CommServe, NetWare Server, and MediaAgent to ensure proper operations. It is recommended that your NetWare server has DNS services configured.

The NetWare File System iDataAgent will be automatically installed during installation of the File Archiver for NetWare Agent, if the File System iDataAgent is not already installed.
