Use this dialog box to specify how often data must be obtained from each Cell. The QSMCell(s) tab is displayed if a QSMCell is registered with the CommNet Server.
CommCell(s)
Displays a list of registered CommCell(s).
Display Name
The display name of the CommCell, as indicated during the CommCell registration.
Interface Name
The full interface name of the CommServe host machine, as indicated during the CommCell registration.
Data Collection Enabled
When selected, the CommNet Agent updates the CommNet Server with information at the intervals specified below.
The CommCell start time used to calculate the intervals.
Allows you to set, in hours or minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send configuration information to the CommNet Server.
Configuration information includes the following:
Allows you to set, in hours and minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send alert updates for a CommCell to the CommNet Server.
Allows you to set, in hours or minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send data associated with CommCell jobs to the CommNet Server. Note that this field is applicable only if there is no Job Controller window open at the present time. Otherwise, Job Controller updates are sent every 30 seconds.
Allows you to set, in hours or minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send the events associated with the CommCell to the CommNet Server. Note that this field is applicable only if there is no Event Viewer window open at the present time. Otherwise, Event Viewer updates are sent in real time.
Data Replication Monitor Update
Allows you to set, in hours and minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send Data Replication Monitor updates for a CommCell to the CommNet Server.
Allows you to set, in hours and minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send Resource View information updates for a CommCell to the CommNet Server.
Resource View information includes:
When selected, the CommNet Agent updates the CommNet Server with primary storage resource (SRM) information.
Data Collection for Media and VaultTracker Enabled
When selected, the CommNet Agent updates the CommNet Server with media and VaultTracker action information.
Allows you to set, in hours or minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send data associated with media information for a CommCell to the CommNet Server.
Allows you to set, in hours or minutes, how often the CommNet Agent must send data associated with VaultTracker operations for a CommCell to the CommNet Server. Note that this field is applicable only if there is no VaultTracker Action Monitor window open at the present time. Otherwise, VaultTracker action updates are sent every two minutes.
Restore Values
When clicked, restores the values associated with the previously saved Data Collection Policy.
QSMCell(s)
