Where to Install the Software

Lotus Notes Database and Document iDataAgents are installed on the computer in which the Domino Server resides.

Installation

The software can be installed using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Install Software from the CommCell Console - to install remotely on a client computer.
Method 2:
Install the Lotus Domino Server iDataAgents - Windows - to install directly on Windows client computer.

Install the Lotus Domino Server iDataAgents - Unix - to install directly on Unix client computer.

Where to go From Here

For Lotus Notes Database iDataAgent, once you install the software you must back up the data. This is explained in Full Backups.
For Lotus Notes Document iDataAgent, once you install the software, you must add a restore view name. This is explained in Instances - Lotus Notes / Domino Server.
