Use this step to specify the how the computers in your CommCell should be discovered for Agentless SRM Policy. It allows manually entering the client computer name along with manual and automatic selection of client computers.
Manually select computers
Specifies that the Agentless policy will apply to the computers selected from the available list of computers.
Automatically discover computers
Specifies that the Agentless policy will apply to the computers in the specified domain, which will be automatically detected by the CommServe when Agentless Data Collection job runs.
Exclude Discovery of computers with SRM agents already installed
Allows excluding the computers with SRM Agents already installed from being discovered.
Selecting this option will exclude the discovery of clients with SRM Agents installed. Otherwise, when the checkbox is cleared the clients with SRM Agents installed will also be discovered.
Force Collection of Previously failed clients
Allows discovering clients that earlier failed from discovery.
Selecting this option will include the discovery of clients that earlier failed from being discovered. Otherwise, when the checkbox is cleared the clients that earlier failed will not be discovered.
Data Collection Options
Allows selecting what type of data will be collected in the Agentless policy being created.
Save As Script
Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.
When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding xml parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
