Use this step to automate the Legal Hold operation using the Content Director Policy.
Use Legal Hold
Specifies the Legal Hold to which the search items returned from the search query will be added. Select a Legal Hold name from the drop-down list. To add the search items to a new Legal Hold, select <Create New>.
Name
Specifies the name of the Legal Hold.
Storage Policy
Specifies the storage policy associated with the Legal Hold.
Create Storage Policy
Allows for the creation of a Legal Hold Storage Policy.
Default Retention
Specifies the default retention period for the Legal Hold.
Extended Retention
When enabled, specifies that an extended retention period is applied to the Legal Hold.
Infinite
When enabled, specifies that the Legal Hold will be retained for an infinite retention period.
Retention Date
Specifies the extended retention date for the Legal Hold.
Description
Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.
