Use this dialog box to either schedule or immediately perform a data aging operation.
Schedule
Provides access to the Schedule Details (Schedule Details) dialog box which allows you to schedule a data aging operation.
Run Immediately
Initiates a data aging operation immediately.
Save As Script
Select this option to open the Saving the Job as a Script dialog box which allows you to save this operation and selected options as a script file.
Configure Alert
Provides the necessary options to configure the alerts associated with data aging operations.
When clicked, opens the Alert Wizard to configure necessary alerts for this operation.
When clicked, deletes any existing alerts that are already configured.

If you do not run data aging, no data will be deleted and no media will be recycled, regardless of the defined retention period settings. |
Save As Script
Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.
When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding xml parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
