History Filter

Use this dialog box to establish filtering options to view the job history associated with the following operations: Data Management Operations which include backup, archive, Quick Recovery agent volume creation, or recovery point creation, SRM Data Collection and Analysis: data recovery operations, which include restore, recover, Quick Recovery agent volume recovery, retrieve operations or stub recalls, and content indexing operations.

Data Management and Resource Management Operations

This option is available when the history is viewed for data management and resource management operations from the CommCell, Client or Client Computer Group level.

Specifies that the history window should display those jobs that correspond to the specified data management operations. The following options are available:

Backup - Specifies that backup operations should be included in the history window.
Quick Recovery Agent Volume Creation - Specifies that Quick Recovery agent volume creation operations should be included in the history window.
Archive/Compliance Archive - Specifies that archive/compliance archive operations should be included in the history window.
Recovery Point Creation - Specifies that recovery point creation operations should be included in the history window.
SRM Data Collection & Analysis - Specifies that SRM data collection & analysis operations should be included in the history window.

Data Recovery Operations

This option is available when the history is viewed for data recovery operations from the CommCell, Client or Client Computer Group level.

Specifies that the history window should display only those jobs that correspond to the specified data recovery operations. The following options are available:

Restore - Specifies that only restore operations should be included in the history window.
Quick Recovery Agent Volume Recovery - Specifies that only Quick Recovery agent volume recovery operations should be included in the history window.
Recovery/Retrieve - Specifies that only Recovery/Retrieve operations should be included in the history window.
Stub Recall - Specifies that stub recall operations should be included in the history window.

Backup Type/Content Index Type

This option is available when the history is viewed for agents that support the backup or content indexing operation.

Specifies that the history window should display only those backup/content index jobs that correspond to the specified type. Depending on the backup types supported by the Agent, some or all of the following options are available:

All - Specifies that all backup/content indexing jobs should be included in the history window.
Full - Specifies that jobs associated with full backups/full content indexing only should be included in the history window.
Synthetic full - Specifies that jobs associated with synthetic full backups only should be included in the history window.
Differential - Specifies that jobs associated with differential backups only should be included in the history window.
Incremental/Transaction Log - Specifies that jobs associated with incremental backups/content index or transaction log backups only should be included in the history window.

Quick Recovery Agent Volume Creation Type

This option is available when the history is viewed for Quick Recovery Agent Volume Creation.

Specifies that the history window should display only those Quick Recovery agent volume creation jobs that correspond to the specified type. The following options are available:

All - Specifies that all Quick Recovery agent volume creation jobs should be included in the history window.
Snap Shot - Specifies that jobs associated with snap shots only should be included in the history window.
Quick Recovery Agent Volume Creation - Specifies that jobs associated with Quick Recovery agent volume creation without incremental updates should be included in the history window.
Incremental Updates - Specifies that only jobs associated with Quick Recovery agent volume creation with incremental updates only should be included in the history window.

Destination client computer

This option is available when the history is viewed for restore/recover/retrieve operations.

Specifies that only jobs that were restored/recovered/retrieved to the specified client computer should be included in the history window. To change the destination client computer, click one from the list.

SRM Data Collection & Analysis

This option is available when the history is viewed for SRM Data Collection & Analysis operations.

Specifies that the history window should display only SRM Data Collection and Analysis jobs that correspond to the specified client or client group.

Job Status

Specifies that the backups with the selected Job Status should be included in the history window. The following options are available:

All - Specifies that all jobs should be included in the history window.
Completed - Specifies that jobs that were completed and completed with one or more errors should be included in the history window.
Failed - Specifies that system killed and system failed jobs (including backup jobs that failed to start) should be included in the history window.
Killed - Specifies that user killed jobs should be included in the history window.

Specify Time Range

Specifies that the jobs that have occurred within a specified time zone and time threshold should be displayed. The following options are available:

Time Zone - Lists the time zones. To change the time zone, click one in the list.
Start Time, End Time - Lists the date and time. To specify the time threshold select a start day and time and an end day and time.
