Sharing Folder Properties

Use this dialog box to view or modify the properties of a shared network folder.

The name of the device.

The name of the MediaAgent that accesses the  network folder.

Unix Network Sharing Folder

• Folder

  The network path used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path, when the MediaAgent is a Unix MediaAgent. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)

NetWare Network Sharing Folder

• Folder

  The network path used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path, when the MediaAgent is a NetWare MediaAgent. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)

Windows Network Sharing Folder

• Local Path

  Select this option if you wish to specify a local path in the MediaAgent computer.

  Folder

  The path used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)

• Network Path

  Select this option to specify a network path as the target share.

  Connect As

  The user name that will be used by the system to access the network path.

  Password

  The password for the specified user name. Use this field to rename the password, if necessary.

  Verify Password

  Confirmation of the password for the specified user name.

  Folder

  The network path used by the MediaAgent to access the mount path. (Use the browse button to access the Browse for Mount Path dialog box which allows you to select the network path.)

Read Only

Applies to mount paths configured on replicated disks. When selected, indicates that the network path is used for read-only purposes.
