Use this dialog box to view or change the properties of a MediaAgent.
NamesDisplays the display name of the MediaAgent in the CommCell Browser.
Displays the full interface name of the MediaAgent computer.
Displays the full interface name of the CommServe computer. This name is used by the MediaAgent to communicate with the CommServe.
Displays whether the MediaAgent software is installed on the Physical or Virtual computer. (Applies only when the software is installed in a clustered environment.)
Displays the MediaAgent Name of the active node. (Applies to MediaAgents in a clustered environment.)
Click to specify a different Client Name, Host Name and/or CS HostName.
Displays the operating system of the host machine in which the MediaAgent is installed.
Displays the processor platform that runs the computer.
Use the space to add MediaAgent-specific information, relevant to your environment.
Click to configure the NDMP server properties. Indicates whether the MediaAgent is installed as an NDMP Remote Server. This option is displayed only when the MediaAgent is specified as NDMP Remote Server during installation.
Maximum number of parallel data transfer operations
When selected, allows you to establish the maximum number of concurrent read/write operations to the MediaAgent.
Data Integrity Validation
When selected, validates the integrity of data stored in the media, during data recovery operations.
When selected, validates the integrity of data transferred over the network during data protection operations.
