Use this dialog box to view the hardware and configuration information about a media.
Barcode
The number displayed on the barcode label of the media, if the library is configured as a sighted library. (Sighted library is a library with a barcode reader.)
Identifier
A user definable label for the media, if the library is configured as a blind or stand-alone library. (Blind library is a library without a barcode reader.). The label can be changed at any time without affecting the ability to backup or restore.
Product Info
The unique ID generated by the MediaAgent for the media when the media was imported and discovered.
The name of the library in which the media resides.
The name of the library in which the media was last written.
The current location of the media. If necessary, you can change the location when the media is exported from the library.
Displays the name of the export location, if the media was previously exported and then imported back in to the library.
When selected, indicates that the media is currently located in the container. You can also add or change the Container Name from the list.

The storage policy used to write to the media.
The storage policy copy used to write to the media.
The stream number used to write to the media. (Displayed only when the media contains data - not displayed for spare media.)
The CommCell ID associated with the media.
Displays whether the media can be reused after CommCell Migration. (Yes/No) This is based on whether the media from the migrated CommCell was specified to be re-used during the merge operation. (Displayed only when the media was migrated from another CommCell.)
Description
Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.
