Report Selection (General)

CommCell Configuration Report

Use this dialog box to select the filter criteria to be included in the CommCell Configuration Report.

The individual filter criteria are listed below.

Displays the complete configuration details of the CommCell.

Displays the alert type, alert configuration details and user names configured to receive alerts.

Displays the Data Interface Pairs configured for the CommCell.

Displays the designated CommServe Update Cache as well as the additionally configured update caches (Multicache Configuration). Details include the OS name, package name, service pack version and the respective updates.

Displays the users created under the various user groups together with their rights and authentications.

Displays the type of Storage Policy, the user associated with it and the rights of the users.

Displays property information on the Content Indexing Engine.

Displays the types of jobs that are run, their schedule, time zones they are set in and their destination paths.

Displays all information about client properties.

Outlook/Lotus Notes Add-in Clients

Displays a list of email add-in clients installed on the CommCell.

Index Cache Content

Displays the MediaAgent's Index Cache properties and contents. This is useful in viewing how much resources the present Index Cache settings require and making decisions about future index cache needs.

Compliance Director

Displays the operations namely: Legal Hold, ERM and Tagging, which can be performed by using this policy.

Allows to identify and segregate relevant data found during a data discovery operation and preserve them for a long term for legal purposes.

Allows you to define property or information that can be assigned to search result items in order to categorize the search items and perform a search based on the associated tags at a later point of time.

The Enterprise Records Management (ERM) connectors enable you to submit content indexed documents and files as records to a record center site.

Licensing

Displays the general License information for the CommCell.

Displays the license details like their expiration dates, installation dates etc.

Update Service Pack Information

Retrieves update information from remote computers for the properties you selected and updates the database. This option is necessary if, during a Service Pack installation, the update information did not get updated because the CommServe services were down or the database was unreachable.

Allows user to have collapsible view of additional client properties.

 

Save As

Click to save the selected options as a report template or as a script file.

When you save the operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding xml parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
