Job for Storage Policy/Storage Policy Copy

Use this window to view the job history of data protection operations of the selected storage policy copy. Note that all the options described in this help may not be available and will vary according to the job list. Right-click any of the rows to view more options. The items reported include:

Job ID

A unique number allocated by the job manager for the data protection operation.

Status

Displays the job status of the data protection operation.

Client

The client of the data protection operation.

iDataAgent

The agent of the data protection operation.

Instance/Partition

The instance/partition in the client computer that represents the database that was included in this data protection operation.

Backup Set

The backup set of the data protection operation.

Storage Policy

The storage policy to which the data protection operation was directed.

Subclient

The subclient of the data protection operation.

Backup Type

The type of data protection operation that was completed.

Cycles/Sequences

The cycle number / sequence number of the data protection operation.

Start Time

The date and time on the CommServe when the backup job started.

End Time

The date and time on the CommServe when the backup job ended.

Size of Application

The actual size of the application data backed up using this job.

Size of Backup

The size of data considered for backup, after including details such as header, index, etc. and applying data compression (if configured.)

Data Written

The amount of data transferred to the media. For deduplicated jobs, this is the size of deduplicated data.

Note: When viewing the jobs from the client level, the amount displayed is an uncompressed size and includes valid and invalid attempts of the backup jobs, and thus, may be larger than the size displayed when viewing the jobs from any other level.

Total Job Size

The total amount of data included in the backup job.

Data Verification Status

Displays whether or not this backup has been picked for data verification, and if the data verification operation was successful. Status includes Picked for Verification, Not Picked, Successful, Partial, Expired, and Failed.

Last Verified On

If selected for data verification, the date and time this job was last verified.

Retain Until

If manually retained, the end date and time for the manual retention period of this job.

Content Indexed Time

The time when the content indexing operation for the specific job was complete.

Content Index Status

The status of the content indexing operation for the specific job.

Aged Time

The date and time on the CommServe when the backup job was aged.

Copied Time

The date and time on the CommServe when the backup job was copied.

Encrypted

Specifies whether the data is encrypted or not.

Deduplicated

Specifies whether the data is deduplicate or not.

Data Integrity Validation Checked

Specifies whether the data protection job has the Data Integrity Validation enabled or not.

User Name

The name of the user that initiated the backup job.

Error Code

A unique number linking to troubleshooting and knowledgebase articles from the customer support website. This is useful if you wish to obtain information about the job failure reason(s).

Note that this error code will only appear if the job has not completed successfully.
