Library Detail

This detail view displays information about the selected library that allows users to quickly determine the status of their environment as well as troubleshoot it. Note that all fields may not be applicable depending on the type of library selected.

Disk Library

• The type and status of the library and, if not operational, the date since it has not been operational
• The capacity available in the library
• The library controller information showing the visibility of all the associated MediaAgents for the selected library.
• The library's events, error and mount history for the last 24 hours
• The throughput of the library in GB/hour for the last 24 hours

Tape Library

• The type and status of the library
• The capacity available in the library
• The library controller information showing the visibility of all the associated MediaAgents for the selected library.
• The library's manufacturer and model information
• The number of drives, total slots, and empty slots in the library
• The number of scratch pools
• The status of media inside/outside the library
• The library's events, error and mount history for the last 24 hours
• The throughput of the library in GB/hour for the last 24 hours

Stand-Alone Tape Library

• The type and status of the library
• The capacity available in the library
• The library controller information showing the visibility of all the associated MediaAgents for the selected library.
• The library's manufacturer and model information
• The number of drives
• The number of scratch pools
• The status of media inside the library
• The library's events, error and mount history for the last 24 hours
• The throughput of the library in GB/hour for the last 24 hours
